This is the story of SPQ: born by mistake, grown by choice, enduring by will.
The Mistake That Changed Everything
Every great story begins with a mistake.
Ours… with a wrong click.
It was February 9, 2021. The world stood still, COVID kept us locked inside our homes, and boredom had become a more dangerous enemy than any army.
In that suspended moment, Erik the Barman, leader of BGI – I BRIGANTI in kingdom K74, accidentally created a new city.
One city too many.
A city in the wrong place.
A city lost in a newborn kingdom: K75.
Many would have deleted everything and pretended nothing had happened.
Erik didn’t.
Like any true Barman, instead of throwing the glass away… he filled it.
From that mistake, an idea was born.
From that idea, a clan.
With the help of an Argentinian and a French player met in the kingdom, Erik founded BGI – I BRIGANTI 3: a refuge open to anyone who wanted to play together, without taking things too seriously but with a clear head.
The first to knock on the door was Avanzoide, soon simply called Ava.
Shortly after came La Canaia, Pyper’s second city and Erik’s companion from K74, who immediately understood that something more than just a clan was being built there.
The clan grew slowly, brick by brick.
Buildings rose, technologies were researched, and players began to arrive with a simple yet rare goal: not to play alone.
Among them appeared Massimo Decimo Meridio.
Charismatic, restless, often outside the lines. His presence brought enthusiasm… and more than a few shocks.
After being declared an outlaw, and for the sake of peace within the clan, he chose to leave the kingdom himself, heading toward new lands.
A farewell that seemed final.
When the clan finally found its balance, Zio Tibia arrived. In a short time, he became Erik’s right-hand man and the soul that kept everything moving.
If SPQ began to walk, it was also thanks to him.
About a month and a half after the foundation, K75 opened, and one day a request arrived from someone named Geralt of Rivia.
The joy was great.
Perhaps too great.
Because Geralt… was actually Massimo Decimo Meridio, back from exile with a new name and the same thirst for chaos.
He had come home. As if nothing had happened.
That was the moment when the four musketeers looked each other in the eyes and made a decision that would change everything:
to cut all ties with BGI of K74 and give the clan a new identity.
Thus SPQ – I BRIGANTI was born.
Meanwhile, relations with K74 completely collapsed. Erik chose to close that chapter and move his main city to K75.
Many followed him.
Thus was formed the first true core of SPQ: a group united not by obligation, but by shared choices.
No one could have known it then.
But that initial mistake, that wrong click, that city created by chance…
had just given birth to a story destined to last for years.
And this… is only the beginning.
More anecdotes and stories will follow, made of deeds, difficult choices, mistakes and victories, that over the years have shaped—and will continue to shape—the spirit of SPQ.
